My Process…

I make knives using the stock removal method, in the tradition of my late great uncle, Jeff Hollett, renowned custom knife-maker out of the Dallas, TX area. This involves cutting out a blade from a raw piece of steel.

After the handles are added, I allow the epoxy to cure, then begin shaping them. Once shaped and finished, I hand stitch a leather sheath for each individual knife. Then the finished is product is ready to be shipped to the customer!

Sounds simple, right? In reality, each knife takes between 25 and 65 hours to make. Some knives can take even longer depending on the materials used and the intricacy of the build.
